Alaina's new favorite books are the Curious George series. She loves to have them read for bedtime stories. Maybe he reminds her of herself, a good little monkey but always very curious (read: makes havoc unintentionally wherever she goes!). Anyway, I thought it was cute when I found Ethan in her bed with her in the middle of the day last week, 'reading' curious george to her. He was making it up as he went along, and she seemed very happy with it.

I love it when kids love books so much. My oldest likes to read, but often forgets about it when he gets caught up building with his Legos.
Legos are a huge favorite around here too. I have one child who would play legos all day if he could - that and dismantle the furniture and electronics to see how they are put together. Think he will be a mechanic or an inventor?
