(Yep, I'm blogging about Christmas in March - cause that's how I roll)
We were blessed to be able to go to Utah for Christmas. It was so nice to see our family again! We hadn't seen most of the Humphries family in a year, or most of the McCausland family in 2 years!
Shaun was pleased to see that he is nearly as tall as Seth. They also just happened to have the same great tie.
Michaela and Sophia making pretty music together
Alaina had a fun birthday lunch at the playplace with her cousins while we were there.
The traditional McCausland Nativity play - always so fun!
Michaela loves her Christmas moose!
Alaina was super excited about her umbrella. Simple pleasures.
Christmas morning at the timeshare
After spending Christmas in Southern Utah, we headed to Salt Lake to visit Grandma and Grandpa Humphries at their temple square apartment. While each person took turns with the flu, we did get to go out and see some of the sites, including the church history museum, which had some cute fun areas for the kids to play, the tabernacle and temple square, and of course the amazing Christmas lights. We even got to go see the Tabernacle choir and orchestra in concert.
Alaina's birthday lunch with Mom and Dad.
While in Northern Utah we got to spend a little time with my Grandma and Grandpa Fisher and some of my Aunts, Uncles, and cousins at a lunch and sing-in. I love singing with family, especially at Christmas!
Getting in some snuggles with Grandpa before we go home (I don't know why we didn't get any shots with Grandma - I guess because we gave her the flu before we left :( )
It was not the easiest trip with all the illness, but it was very worth it to see all our family members.
