Our trip to San Antonio part 1: Austin

A few weeks before Christmas, we got to go on a fun vacation to San Antonio to see Mike's parents and sister and her cute kids. We were very excited to see them and also to see the sites since we haven't explored that part of Texas yet.  On our way, we stopped in Austin to tour the Capitol building.  It was very interesting and beautiful.  The picture above is from the rotunda, looking up to the dome.

We had a fun surprise when the kids spotted Santa during our tour.  We were on the House floor and he motioned for them to come over to him.  He led them onto the floor and said 'they usually don't let people in here, but I don't think they'll get mad at Santa Claus, do you?'
Even the hinges on the doors are decorated with Texas symbols

Can you tell which are the kids and which are the statues?
