I can hardly believe it has been a whole year since we welcomed baby Michaela into our family! She is such a fun baby and it is fun to see her personality blossoming along with her independence. She is walking, actually running, everywhere now and doing almost everything she can put her mind to. She keeps us on our toes! She loves her brothers and sister and can't stand to be left out of anything they do. She's still my little blue-eyed girl, it doesn't look like those eyes are changing! She loves to look at books and try to draw and play ball and go on walks. She is very active and observant of everything around her and she doesn't seem to know she is littler than anyone else, she just jumps right in to try to do what they are doing. She is still kind of reserved around people she doesn't know really well, and she gets overwhelmed in crowds, but she is getting braver and more outgoing as she is able to get around by herself.
She is not a morning person, she takes her time waking up, but not in a grouchy way, just in a drowsy, leisurely way. It is cute to watch her stretch and squint for a half hour before she really wakes up.
We all love her smiles! She is a pretty happy girl.
We love you, Michaela! We are glad you are in our family!
