mad scientists

My Mom is an awesome Grandma. While she and Robleigh were here, they not only cooked and cleaned for me, but my Mom also gave my kids some of the most fun science and math lessons they have ever had. One day they got out the protractors and made all kinds of neat 3D shapes. Another day they made quicksand with cornstarch. Their most favorite science experiment was this: It's called GAK. It was pretty cool, in a gross sort of way. You can bounce it, mold it, stretch it almost infinitely, and even blow it up like a balloon. The kids asked to play with this stuff almost every day for a week afterward. Too much fun!
