Mike and Shaun were on a weeklong scout camp during Jeremy's actual birthday, so he wanted to wait until after they got back to celebrate. He planned a spy party with secret spy identities, code breaking, waterguns and balloons for target practice, dodging lasers (red yard strung across the room), and a secret spy mission. But on the day of his party there was something going around and nearly all the guests were sick. He was pretty bummed. Luckily we were able to find a few free friends we could borrow later in the day, plus he has 3 brothers and a little sister, so they played spy games together and he made the best of it. He had a pretty good attitude about it I thought. It started pouring while they were playing waterfights so they got extra wet and thought that was just fine. Good thing kids are adaptable!
