And...he's off!For Christmas, I gave Mike a certificate for a flying lesson. He has always been interested in flying and learned a little about how to fly as a teen in the Civil air patrol. He finally was able to schedule a time this past weekend. The kids were very excited to watch him take off. They only wished they could ride in the plane with him!
He said it was fun and he actually was in control of the plane for the majority of the time. He got a little queasy, but he enjoyed it.

Giles and Mike should go up sometime when you're here in the winter. G just has to do a checkride and he's fine to go up alone. he has his private license so lets plan something. :) he'd be in heaven.
