Easter

We had a nice Easter - General conference was amazing and uplifting, and the beautiful spring weather also made me feel happy! Saturday the kids got to do a little egg hunt with some of our friends who are also transplants here in Texas and didn't have things going on with family. They had fun searching for eggs and bargaining and trading the eggs and candy afterward. Shaun came in his church clothes so he could go straight from there to his first Priesthood session with Dad. That was a neat first for him. Sunday we had some friends over to watch conference with us and share a nice dinner. We made our first simple passover meal for our Family home evening on Monday and it turned out pretty well. It is always a special time of year to focus on the Savior and the hope He gives, all while the hope of spring is bursting all around us. I love it.
