Christmas morning pics

Ok, here's some more very belated pictures. Here's Alaina hugging the baby Jesus doll she found in the manger on Christmas morning. The kids work throughout December to earn hay to put in the manger by doing kind deeds for eachother and others. If they make a soft enough bed, then on Christmas morning the baby Jesus appears in the manger.

Here's Jacob playing his new Bakugan game with Jeremy.

Ethan asked for a kitten for Christmas. We told him this wasn't likely, since we have 2 cats already, we rent, and frankly those cats have been kind of a pain when it comes to moving and keeping the furniture nice. Luckily he was happy with this one.
Alaina was excited about the kitchen she got, especially the phone that came with it.
Jeremy is enamored with Star wars - almost every gift he got was star wars related.
It was a very provident Christmas despite the difficulties we had faced earlier in the year. We were blessed by generous friends and ward members and anonymous Santas who made our Christmas very bright. Things are better for us now, but we will remember this Christmas with gratitude and hopefully pay it forward someday soon.
