Day at the museum

Alaina's 'cooking'
fishing in the pond

One of the local museums had a free family night, so we went to check it out. They had several interactive exhibits for little kids, although a lot of the sections the older kids were hoping to see were being renovated. The upstairs museum was all about cowgirls. The boys were just as fascinated as Alaina. Her favorites were seeing the 'horsies' and cooking with play food over a pretend campfire. The boys liked fishing in the pretend pond, shopping and being the checkout person at the storefront, and the house where they could build the walls and talk to eachother on the phone from different parts of the museum.

I really need to take my kids to some children's museums. That sounds like lots of fun!
