We took a quick trip up north to a family Christmas party for my (Alysia's) Dad's family. It was fun to see our relatives, and we spent a couple hours just singing around the piano in our traditional family 'program,' which was really nice. These kinds of traditions are what prompted Mike to conclude that you had to 'try out' to be in my family! haha. He would rather play basketball at reunions, but he sang with us and did great. I love you, honey! :) Ethan found it irresistable to sit on my Uncle Bill's lap, who he was absolutely sure was Santa Claus (he didn't have a beard last time we saw him).

I'm sad that we missed it! I haven't seen Bill with a beard either, but my first thought was what a good Santa he would make. He's always been one of my favorite uncles.
