This is us with our good friends, John and Julie, and their new baby girl, when they visited recently on a trip. They have 4 little boys and this sweet girl, just like our family. We have been pregnant together several times, and our children are close with theirs and have so much fun together. We met when I had our first new baby and they were newlyweds. She and John introduced themselves by bringing us some of their wedding cake. They have continued from that day on to share special times with us and offer help and kindness. We spent many days visiting together while we cleaned and tended to our children. We have enjoyed family vacations together. We don't get to live next door anymore, but I know I can always call Julie for a listening ear and encouragement. We are so grateful to have them for our friends.

I love the fact they brought over some of their wedding cake! Friends like these that stay are so rare and special.
