We went with some of our homeschool co-op friends on a camping trip in April to Cedar Hill State park. It was beautiful, the weather was nice and the wildflowers were all in bloom (unfortunately for Mike's allergies). We made smores and played games with friends, and went on a fun walk around the historic farm they have there. The kids were fascinated with all the old farm buildings and learning about how they lived 100 yrs ago. Those early settlers were hard workers!
