It is fun having a girl. There are some things little girls do that just warm a Mom's heart. Like when she tries on your church shoes and wears them around the house. Or when she brings you dandelions to put in your hair so you will match hers. It's nice having someone who doesn't whine about shopping with me, who tells me I look pretty when I'm doing my hair, and who likes to dance and twirl in dresses with me. Of course, she rarely will let me do HER hair, and she has probably done more beating up of her siblings than any of the boys, but once in a while we have a girl moment together and it always brings a smile to my face.
